What areas do you service?
We service homes in our local area Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Lake Cathie and surrounding suburbs. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, get in touch and we'll be happy to confirm.
What does a home refresh involve?
Every home is different. A refresh may include decluttering, organising, rearranging, refreshing rooms and helping you decide what to keep, donate or let go of.
Do I need to declutter before you arrive?
Not at all! That's what we're here for. You don't need to tidy or prepare everything beforehand. We work with what you have and help you make decisions as we go.
Do you remove unwanted items?
We can help sort items into categories such as keep, donate, sell and discard. Where appropriate, we can also discuss removal or donation options with you.
Will you throw things away without asking me?
Absolutely not. Your belongings and your decisions are respected at all times. We will never dispose of something without your approval.
How long does a home refresh take?
This depends on the size of the space and how much is involved. Some areas can be refreshed in a few hours, while larger or more involved projects may require multiple sessions.
Do you work with whole homes or individual rooms?
Both! You can book us to refresh a single space such as a wardrobe, pantry, kitchen, laundry or home office, or we can work through multiple areas of your home.
Is the service suitable if I'm feeling overwhelmed?
Definitely. You don't need to have everything figured out before we arrive. Our goal is to make the process manageable, practical and judgment-free.
Do I need to be home during the service?
This can depend on the type of service and what we're working on. We'll discuss the best arrangement with you before your appointment.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. Your home, belongings and personal circumstances are treated with complete respect and discretion.
Can you help me maintain the space after it's organised?
Yes. We can help create simple systems and routines that make it easier to keep your home feeling organised and refreshed.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
That's completely fine! Tell us what's frustrating you about your space or what you'd like to feel differently about your home. We can help work out what kind of refresh would be most useful.
What about storage solutions?
During your consultation, we’ll discuss the storage solutions that could work best for your space, as well as your expectations and the overall look and feel you’d like to achieve.
We’ll also talk about your preferred colours, including any colours you love and any you’d prefer to avoid. There are plenty of options, and we’ll help you find an approach that suits your home, style and budget.
You can choose to:
- Use what you already have — we’ll work with your existing storage wherever possible.
- Shop for storage solutions yourself — we can provide guidance and recommendations so you can purchase the products yourself.
- Have Neatly Home Refresh source the storage solutions for you — we can take care of finding the products that best suit your space and vision.
If you choose to have us source storage solutions for you, photos of the space and accurate dimensions will need to be provided so we can select products that are suitable for your specific area.
Sourcing and shopping fees apply when Neatly Home Refresh is engaged to source or shop for storage solutions on your behalf. Any product costs will be discussed with you before purchasing.
